Circusstad Festival and circus artist and maker Liza van Brakel are setting up a new program in which people with intellectual disabilities create a short performance together with circus artists. The aim is to create an inclusive environment through circus in which everyone has the opportunity to discover his or her talents and shine on stage. Their dreams and ideas are the starting point for the content of the performances. During Circusstad Festival we get a first glimpse behind the scenes of this special project.
After the performance on Saturday, May 4, we will discuss BuitenGewoon at 6:00 PM in De Doelen.
