For the production 'Ancrage' ('anchoring'), Modou Fata Touré and his partner Ibrahima Camara experimented with natural materials from their native country. With these materials (mainly straw, earth and wood) they made completely new instruments and techniques and thus created a new face of the contemporary African circus.
Far from the traditional codes of the African circus and yet anchored in their origins. Expect poetic acrobatics, exciting balancing acts and playful object manipulation.
