Why do we stop playing when we grow up? By manipulating toys such as gliders, cars and no less than 678 ball pit balls, Henri Kangas and Batist van Baekel allow young and old audiences to discover new ways of playing.
Henri and Batist are jugglers and object manipulators, graduated from Codarts Circus Arts. 'Shenanigans' is their first circus performance about the role of play and imagination as a counterbalance in a society with far too much attention to screens. Last year they showed a promising 'work in progress' version. High expectations for the official Dutch premiere during the festival.
