Aging is still a taboo, especially within the circus world. Like top athletes, most acrobats stop training intensively after a certain age. 'Glorious Bodies' is a contemporary circus performance by six acrobats between the ages of 55 and 67. A performance about the capacity of our body, about seeing and being seen, about the border between classical and contemporary circus. Circus history archived in the body.

'Glorious Bodies' is the latest creation by choreographer Piet van Dycke, who successfully presented the performance EXIT during the last edition. Some of the largely Dutch cast come from Rotterdam. Their performance at Circusstad Festival is a dream come true for them.
