Take Care Conference

In close collaboration with Codarts, Circusstad Festival is hosting the Take Care Conference this year. This European initiative focuses on promoting mental health within the contemporary circus world and is organized by FEDEC (European Federation of Circus Schools), Codarts, and is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme.

Participate in an inspiring day full of insights, open conversations, and shared experiences. Discover the key results of the Take Care survey., Attend workshops and keynotes and meet Codarts students and festival artists. A place for deepening understanding, connection, and paying attention to one another.

From Codarts, Stephanie Hulsebosch (Head of Education & Innovation) and Jorrit Terpstra (Performance Psychologist) will speak about, among other things, the Student Life program and supporting circus students in the area of mental health.

In a panel, various artists from the festival program will reflect on their experiences within the professional circus field.
