What if juggling balls choose their own path? In the unique performance ‘Ballroom’ the Belgian company Post from Hessdalen shows how juggling can be done completely differently. Bouncing balls move freely through space and inexplicably create a graceful and rhythmic play of lines.
This intimate performance takes place in a truck converted into a mini-theatre. With this, the company travels from city to city, in the tradition of the nomadic circus, but with a contemporary twist. As an audience, you are right on top of it and yet illusion and reality remain indistinguishable from each other. Juggler Stijn Grupping, who can also be seen with Man Strikes Back, consciously explores Ballroom between juggling and 'magie nouvelle' (contemporary magic) in Ballroom.
Prepare yourself for a performance full of magic, surprising twists and unexpected beauty. Do you dare to take a seat in this moving dream world?
