Various performances are developed with and for the youth, with which excellence in the practice of circus among young people is stimulated.

Kabaal:
KABAAL is a three-day exchange between (inter)national youth circuses and students of the Codarts preparatory course. During the exchange, they receive workshops from one of the festival’s top international companies. A fantastic magnet and source of inspiration for the participants. To top it off, they will open the program on the Schouwburgplein during Circusstad Festival with a grand open-air spectacle.

Roffa!
With Circus Roffa! Rotterdam Circusstad wants to bring vulnerable groups of young people in Rotterdam into contact with their talent and let them grow in it. As part of the project, a performance was created with young people from Circus Rotjeknor, which is played in schools and squares to invite Rotterdam youth to participate in the circus.
