Two comic characters relive the same short film of their daily lives over and over again, trapped on the screen. Outside that world, two musicians play the soundtrack and provide live sound effects for every silent gesture. Wanneer de filmfiguren beseffen dat ze vastzitten in een eindeloze herhaling, beginnen ze te zoeken naar een uitweg. Dit mondt uit in een vrolijke en verbazingwekkende ontdekkingstocht naar nieuwe verbindingen, en naar vrijheid.   

But what does freedom actually mean? 

Helena & Goos are undoubtedly among the best clowns in the Netherlands. Goos Meeuwsen comes from Arnhem, studied at the circus school in Montréal, and together with Brazilian Helena Bittencourt forms a duo that creates surprising and contemporary clown performances that breathe new life into the genre. Both previously performed with the famous Cirque du Soleil.
