World-famous Australian company Gravity & Other Myths (GOM) returns to Rotterdam! After their international breakthrough with A Simple Space(performed at Circusstad Festival in 2018), they now present their most daring and versatile performance to date: The Mirror.

All inhibitions are thrown in for this groundbreaking production brimming with spectacular acrobatics, immersive electronic music, humour, and live video feeds. Led by director Darcy Grant, the nine performers question where the line lies between art and entertainment. And what does authenticity even mean in a world of screens, selfies, and constant self-promotion?

In the impressive stage design with LED walls, cameras and selfie sticks, GOM's human towers, with acrobats jumping in and out, and the live pop mash-ups sung by singer Megan Drury create an infectious interplay of energy, emotion and visuals.   

The Mirror is contemporary circus at its very best: spectacular, poetic and reflective all at once. A performance about humanity, connectedness and the search for “your true self” in an age in which everyone is being watched.
